Joshua Jayvaughn Davis
Joshua Jayvaughn Davis Jr. was just 18 months old when he disappeared from his family's mobile home in New Braunfels, Texas, on February 4, 2011. More than a decade later, his disappearance remains one of Texas' most troubling unsolved missing child cases, and investigators and family continue to seek answers about what happened to him.
According to investigators, Joshua was reported missing from the mobile home where he was staying with family members. At the time of his disappearance, approximately ten people were inside the residence, making the circumstances surrounding the case especially complex. Despite extensive searches and numerous interviews, Joshua was never found.
Authorities have stated that they do not believe Joshua simply wandered away. Investigators suspect that the toddler was either injured inside the home and his disappearance concealed or that he was intentionally removed from the residence. Over the years, law enforcement has continued to investigate multiple leads, but no one has been charged in connection with his disappearance, and Joshua's whereabouts remain unknown.
Joshua's family is desperate to know what happened to Joshua and bring him home.
Because Joshua was only 18 months old when he vanished, investigators have released age-progressed images to show what he may look like as he grows older. Authorities continue to hope that someone who knew the circumstances of his disappearance will come forward with information.
