Janet Renee Field

Janet Renee Field, a 49 year old mom, disappeared on July 2, 2014. Her car was discovered abandoned off Interstate 64 in Louisa County on July 4, 2014.

According to authorities, Fields was last seen by her husband, Lewis Field, at their home. The two reportedly had an argument and Janet left the home. Two days later, her vehicle and personal belongings were found in a commuter parking lot near I-64 at Zion’s Crossroads.

The Virginia State Police Cold Case Database reports that Fields’ phone, purse, and keys were located in the car, while her driver’s license, cash, and credit cards were missing. Due to her more reclusive lifestyle, traditional missing persons leads have provided limited information about her current whereabouts, the updated release states.

Janet is approximately 5'7" and weighs between 130 and 160 pounds, she has sandy blonde hair and blue eyes. Janet, who also goes by her middle name Renee, takes medication for unspecified reasons. She was last seen with her burgundy 2010 Pontiac Subaru Forester, which has the license plate WNP259, though the vehicle has been accounted for. Her disappearance remains unexplained, and she is considered endangered.
