Donna Kay Cloud was 19 years old when she disappeared from Kingwood, Texas, in late October 2016. A young mother to a four-year-old son named Ryan, Donna's disappearance has remained unsolved despite years of investigation and continued efforts by her family to find answers.

According to her family, Donna told them she had met a man on Facebook through mutual friends and planned to meet him for a date at Texas Roadhouse in Kingwood on October 25, 2016. Family members have said this was the last time anyone is known to have seen her in person. Donna had planned to introduce the man to her grandmother, Donna Brock, on October 27, telling her she would stop by between 11:00 and 11:30 a.m. That meeting never happened.

The last known communication from Donna was a text message sent to her grandmother, stating that the date had gone well and that the man was "super nice." After that message, all contact with Donna ceased. Her sudden disappearance alarmed her family, who said it was completely out of character for her to abandon her young son or stop communicating with those closest to her.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office classified Donna as a missing person and assigned multiple detectives to the case. Investigators acknowledged that Donna had experienced some type of disagreement with family members before she disappeared. They also stated that she did not have a cell phone that could be tracked or credit cards that could provide investigators with a trail of her movements. 

Donna's family has never stopped searching for her and has used social media, including the Bring Donna Home awareness campaign, to keep her case in the public eye. They continue to hope that someone with information will come forward and help explain what happened to the young mother.
