Magnolia Missing Network focuses on education, awareness, outreach and resources surrounding missing persons. Volunteers may assist with community outreach, educational projects, awareness efforts, resource development and other appropriate activities.

Volunteers are part of that larger effort. The goal is not to replace law enforcement or professional investigators, but to strengthen public awareness, education and access to information.

Families of missing persons may be dealing with uncertainty, fear, financial pressure, exhaustion and an enormous amount of information. Volunteers should approach families with compassion, respect and appropriate boundaries.
Volunteers should never make promises about an investigation, represent themselves as law enforcement, contact a suspected individual, conduct independent investigations or share private family information without appropriate authorization.
