William Edward “Billy” Husser was 39 years old when he disappeared from Covington, Louisiana, in St. Tammany Parish, on December 29, 2010. His disappearance remains unsolved, and his family and investigators continue to seek answers about what happened to him.

Billy was last known to be at his place of employment, Heavenly Ham in Covington, Louisiana as part of work release program. According to investigators, he disappeared while at work and has not been seen or heard from since. 

When Billy failed to return after the day of work release from St Tammany Parish Jail or make contact with family and friends, concerns grew because his disappearance was considered unusual. Investigators began searching for information that could help determine his whereabouts, but no confirmed sightings or evidence publicly released by authorities have explained what happened to him.

William Edward Husser is described as a White male who was approximately 6 feet to 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighed about 130 pounds at the time of his disappearance. He had brown hair and brown eyes. Billy has several distinguishing features, including a scar on his right thumb from a saw accident, a dragon tattoo on his left shoulder, and a large cover-up tattoo on his chest.

Billy’s case was entered into the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) in 2015. The investigation is being handled by the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the United States Marshals Service. Despite the passage of time, Billy has never been located, and his case remains open.
