Jeanie Marie Chavez
Jeanie Marie "Gee" Chavez was 32 years old when she disappeared from San Antonio, Texas, in July 2024. She was last seen on July 18, 2024, in the 1000 block of Aganier Avenue, where she had been living out of her vehicle. Her disappearance has been classified as Endangered Missing because of concerns for her safety and the circumstances surrounding her case.
According to her family, Jeanie's sudden disappearance was completely out of character. Although she had been struggling with a prescription pill addiction and had experienced periods of instability, they said she always remained in contact with loved ones, especially her children. Friends and family became alarmed when they were unable to reach her and she failed to return home. They have stated that Jeanie had recently agreed to enter treatment for her addiction. Her boyfriend reportedly told investigators that she left after refusing to go to treatment on her own, but no one has heard from or seen Jeanie since that day.
Jeanie's family has expressed concern that she may have been the victim of human trafficking or foul play. The family continues to believe someone knows what happened and has urged anyone with information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to contact investigators.
At the time of her disappearance, Jeanie was described as a Hispanic female standing between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing approximately 140 to 150 pounds, although later police bulletins estimated she weighed closer to 100 pounds. She has brown eyes, black or dark brown hair, multiple ear piercings, and numerous distinctive tattoos. These include a rose with a spider on the right side of her neck, butterflies and a sword on her right forearm, mushrooms on her left shoulder, a rose and clock on her left upper arm, a woman's face on her left forearm, the word "Kindness" on her right shoulder, bows on the backs of both calves, a barbed-wire heart with a cross on her chest, the letters "PR" on her left hand, "AY" on her right hand, writing down the center of her back, a colorful swallow on her chest, an angel-wing memorial tattoo for her brother on her back, and a flower on the back of one hand.
Jeanie Marie Chavez remains missing, and the San Antonio Police Department continues to investigate her disappearance.
