Giang Thai Than Phan has been missing since April 8, 2011. He is a male of Asian descent, over 33 years old, with brown eyes and black hair. His height is estimated to be between 65 and 66 inches, and his weight ranges from 155 to 180 pounds.

Giang has several identifying features, including a birthmark on his left shoulder. He wears a silver chain necklace with a silver cross. He also has tattoos: one on his wrist that reads "God's Hands," and three Asian symbols located between his shoulder blades. Additionally, he has scars on his left arm and right hip.

On the day he went missing, Giang was last confirmed seen between noon and 1:30 PM, having lunch with a friend at the La Carreta Mexican Restaurant in Hammond, Louisiana. He had plans to take care of business in New Orleans and then proceed to Golden Meadow, Louisiana, to meet a business partner. At 4:00 PM, he responded to a text from his parents or partner indicating he was running late but would soon arrive in Golden Meadow. This was his final communication.

Neither Giang nor his vehicle, a 2009 gold/silver Chevy Malibu with a few dents, have ever been found.
