Gene Taylor McIntyre disappeared on November 23, 2007, from Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was 49 years old at the time of his disappearance. Gene was last heard from when he called his sister and ex-wife from Padre Island, Texas. After that conversation, he was never heard from again.

Following his disappearance, postcards were received from Gene with postmarks from El Paso, Texas, but investigators have not been able to confirm his whereabouts. His vehicle, a 2001 gold Jeep Grand Cherokee with Arkansas license plate 680 MFP, has never been located.

Gene’s disappearance remains unsolved, and investigators continue to seek information that could help determine what happened to him. His family and law enforcement hope that anyone with information, no matter how small it may seem, will come forward.

He is a White male with brown hair and brown eyes. He was approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighed about 140 pounds. He had short, curly brown hair, a dark complexion, and wore driving glasses. He was also known to wear a mustache or goatee.

Gene has a distinctive tattoo on his right upper arm depicting a rebel flag with a sword and the word “Rebel” across the flag.
