Ameera Deadrick was seven years old when she disappeared under circumstances that remain unclear. She is a Black female with black hair who stood between approximately 4 feet and 4 feet 3 inches tall at the time she was last known to be seen.

The last confirmed public sighting of Ameera was in a Facebook video recorded around April 1, 2016. The video appeared to show her at a Chuck E. Cheese restaurant, possibly in Houston, Texas. According to her biological father, he later left Ameera with a family friend known only as "Tootie" on November 14, 2016, in the vicinity of Hubbard, Texas, approximately four hours from Houston. At the time, Tootie was believed to have been living in an apartment in Waco, Texas. After that, Ameera was no longer seen, and her whereabouts became unknown.

Investigators have continued to seek information about Ameera's disappearance and the individuals who may have been caring for her. Authorities have released age-progressed images over the years in hopes that someone may recognize her or provide information leading to her location.
